Basic alpine tour skiing course 40/50€/person

The course is intended for people who would like to learn basics of tour skiing and experience the beauty of mountains in winter. You will learn how to use basic and additional gear for tour skiing and you will learn the basic techniques of walking uphill with skis and skiing downhill from mountain. The course allows people who are seeking for adventure that they learn the basics of tour skiing, safety procedures & mountain hazards and have a lot of fun!

ACTIVITIES:

-          use of basic tour skiing equipment – tour skiis, boots, bindings, poles, skins

-          use of avalanche probe, beeper and shovel

-          winter mountain dangers (avalanche, weather,…)

-          walking techniques with skis on flat ground and uphill

-          skiing techniques in fresh, untouched snow – powder, hard,… depends on conditionsJ

WHEN: every weekend (Saturday or Sunday)

WHERE: SORISKA PLANINA (above Bohinj area)

*meeting point on parking place under Soriška planina ski area at 8:00 a.m.

Hiking shoes, headlamp, warn clothes, windstopper pants & jacket, hat & gloves, rucksack, sunglasses, food, hot tea

PRICE: 40€/person (if you have your own equipment)

PRICE: 50€/person (if we provide you an avalanche equipment)

PRICE INCLUDES:

Insurance, technical equipment, professional guiding, photos on CD and lots of fun!!!
